The Human and Elf races needed some time to recover and rejuvenate because of the big power loss in the war with the Demon and Sea races, while Demon race was deliberately planning aggression for survival and territorial expansion.
At the same time, the Protoss and the Dragon appeared again. The Protoss race continued to help the Human race to train heroes, fight against aggression, and kill the Demon race. Whereas, the Protoss gradually discovered that the origin of all these wars turned out to be a huge conspiracy planned by the Dragon race, who tried to control the entire universe. What’s worse, the Protoss began to slowly disintegrate internally.
